Spooktacular Halloween - Mountsberg Conservation Area

  • Date/Time: Saturday and Sunday, 10-4

  • Details: Enjoy a Halloween-themed day outdoors with the family, including a haunted barn suitable for kids aged 5 and up. There is also a pumpkin hay play area, wagon rides, crafts and live animal shows. Kids in costume receive free treats.

  • Admission: Included with park admission - $7.75 for adults 15-64, $6.75 for seniors, $5.50 for children 5-14 and kids 4 and under are free.

Diwali Culture Day - Waterloo Region Museum

  • Date/Time: Sunday, 12-4

  • Details: Celebrate the festival of lights with live music, traditional dances, and henna. Food will be available for purchase.

  • Admission: Included with museum admission - $11 for adults, $8 for students and seniors, $5.50 for children 5-12 and kids 4 and under are free.

Hops and Harvest Festival - Kelso Conservation Area

  • Date/Time: Saturday and Sunday, 11-5

  • Details: Take a chairlift ride (extra cost) for stunning escarpment views and enjoy the best beers on offer from local craft breweries. There will also be live music, pumpkin painting, jewelry making and games.

  • Admission: $10 for adults, $6 for children 5-18

Terra Cotta's Fall Fest: Food and Fun in the Forest

  • Date/Time: Saturday and Sunday, 11-5

  • Details: A roaming magician, food trucks and vendors, a live Ontario wild bird show and a free shuttle service to the Cheltenham Badlands are just a few of the activities available. BONUS: Add on a kids pass for $12 and you get wagon rides, face painting, crafts and unlimited access to the bouncy castle and Nerf battleground.

  • Admission: $7.99 for adults, $4.99 for children/seniors (+HST) when purchased online

Flavours of Fall - Downtown Oakville

  • Date/Time: Saturday, 11-3

  • Details: Businesses and restaurants in Downtown Oakville will be getting into the Fall spirit with festive foods, beverages and activities. There will be some free sampling, tarot card readings, stenciling workshops, live music and giveaways.

  • Admission: Free (some paid activities)
